John Meddling was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. He attended Nashville Technical School in 1985-1986, receiving a certification as a Graphic Artist. From 1987-1989 he attended Omega School of Massage in Nashville, TN where he received his certification in massage therapy. From 1994-1998 he matriculated his Bachelor degree in electronic engineering through Grantham University. John owned and operated JHR Electronics Repair for 11 years from 1991- 2002 while living in Nashville, TN.

In the spring of 2002, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia and attended High Tech College of Marietta, where he received his associate degree in massage therapy and body works. As a LCMT (Licensed Certified Massage Therapist)—from 2005- 2010, he began teaching at Georgia Medical Institute, where he taught massage therapy, anatomy, physiology, and pathology for five years. John later transitioned from teaching as an instructor—to working in his practice as a neuromuscular/ physical therapist—specializing in the rehabilitation of traumatic brain and spinal injury clients. He is the 20-year owner and operator of HHSRC Neuromuscular, where he practices physical therapy and other therapeutic body-works.
